Colourful Journeys, is a 109 minute dvd documentary shot and edited by the artist himself.
It documents Shane and his partner, Cristine’s recent journey from Beijing, across central Asia and into Russia and finally Finland.
Most of the journey was made by train and nearly all of it was ad hock..apart from the basic plans the pair made before setting out.
At the end of each travel segment/ country, Shane completes a painting relevant to that journey. The works progress is photographed in timelapse and also shot on video.
The Films was recently aired on Australian TV.
