Shane is famous for his 'chrome Kangaroos ' and his latest additions of Saint Bilby. His other mechanical marsupials have become and instant hit, as too the recent 'Twitter bird' series, a parody on the social networking phenomenon of this era. The landscapes of Shane's surreal painting creations are inspired by the outback desert vistas of the far west of outback NSW, where Shane lived and worked in the Broken Hill region for some 12 years.
